2009:The Advent and Christmas season saw the sanctuary transformed into a giant nativity scene. Each week leading to Christmas, more "characters" were added. It culminated with Epiphany when the magi finally made it to the front.
Children attending the South San Joaquin Youth Camp visited the United States Forest Service Ranger Station at Frazier Park and learned about forest fires and the people who fight them. A special treat was getting to sit in the helicopter that transports the crew we met.
The United Christian Church participated in the All Faiths National Day of Prayer celebration at noon on Thursday May 7. Pastor Natalie was one of the organizers and several church members were present. This is the first year that there has been an interfaith presence at the noon celebration at City Hall.
